WHAT:

Proprietary aluminum tubing, utilizing ORE (Optimized Radius Engineering) on the down tube.

WHY:

Creates the best balance of light weight, strength, compliance, and value.

HOW:

By controlling everything from the raw material to the extrusion, butting, swaging, and heat treatment of the tubes, we can optimize our Crosstrail bikes for the given ride experience. ORE, specifically, increases weld surface areas at tube junctions for greater strength, while shaving material in non-critical areas.
